Avocado Pear Dip Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 avocado, pitted, peeled and mashed, 2 cups
  • 1 large pear, diced
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped, white and green parts
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, minced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Pinch salt

Directions

  • Slice jalapeno lengthwise, remove seeds.
  • In blender combine all ingredients and process until smooth. Scrape sides at least once.
  • Transfer to bowl, cover with plastic wrap, refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve chilled.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving equals 80 calories, 6 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 14 mg sodium, 8 g carbohydrate, 1 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1-1/4 fat, 1/4 fruit.
