This is a great recipe. I altered it somewhat. Instead of sugar, I used Splenda in the fruit mix and added dried mango in as well. I changed out the Bisquick, which I don't like, for a box of Cinnamon Steusel. I sprinkled half the pack of dry cake mix over the top of the fruit and then all of the cinnamon/sugar packet. I then put small dices of butter over the top (an old girl scout trick). It turned out fabulous.

A bit time consuming to peel and slice all the apples but no difficulty cooking. Two members of my family can't have processed sugar, so I used Equal. It was delicious with Blue Bunny sugar-free vanilla ice cream!
