Aunt Frances' Lemonade

My sister and I spent a week each summer with Aunt Frances, who always had this thirst-quenching lemonade in a stoneware crock in the refrigerator. It tastes so much like fresh citrus. It made such a refreshing drink after a hot day running around the farm.

Ingredients
- 5 lemons
- 5 limes
- 5 oranges
- 3 quarts water
- 1-1/2 to 2 cups sugar
Directions
- Squeeze the juice from four of the lemons, limes and oranges; pour
- into a gallon container.
- Thinly slice the remaining fruit and set aside for garnish. Add water
- and sugar; mix well. Store in the refrigerator. Serve over ice with
- fruit slices. Yield: 12-16 servings (1 gallon).
