Stir-fry recipes, like Asian Beef and Noodles from Laura Shull Stenberg in Lino Lakes, Minnesota, translate to one-dish family fare that’s long on flavor, but short on prep time, cost and cleanup. This light, colorful family favorite takes only five ingredients—all of which you’re likely to have on hand. Laura suggests serving with a dash of soy sauce and a side of pineapple slices. Or try ground turkey instead of beef!

I liked it ok, but I'm not sure really what's Asian about it other than store bought Ramen noodles with high sodium flavor packets. Oh and let's not forget the ginger. Not bad for a quick meal though.

I've made this recipe many times, using ground chicken or ground turkey sometimes, as well as ground beef. It does taste best when served right after making it, since the noodles tend to get soggy if you refrigerate it and then reheat later. I use both of the seasoning packets instead of just one, and sprinkle the dish with soy sauce when serving. (This will increase the sodium content. ) We like the flavor, but adding a dash of ground red pepper or some hot sauce would work well for those who want it spicier!

This recipe wasn't very good. My son called it "Yum, yum, YUCK!" and my husband opted for bread and butter. It was bland, uninspired and tasted like ground beef with Ramen noodles. Very disappointing given the very positive ratings this recipe received.

I really like this dish. It taste good and is fast to prepare and not expensive with a long list of ingredients. As ooposed to the earlier comment about using beef ramen noodles I use the oriental ones like listed in the recipe.

My family really liked this, and their tastes range from wanting it bland to super spicy. I used a bag of frozen stir-fry veggies, and next time I'm going to use fresh ginger and add some pepper sauce

This is a great meal, without additions. We used snow peas, and a bag of mixed veges. (what we had on hand), and it was great! My wife and I also added some toasted Almonds and a dash of red pepper to ours, as this suites our taste. This meal has become a regular at our house. I'm planning a Cub Scout camp out, and I believe it is an easy enough meal to prepare at the camp out as well. Simply brown the beef at home prior to the trip, reheat and add to the noodle/vege. mix. I believe this will be a hit with the scouts!

Very easy and yummy. I used more ginger, added some garlic powder, and served it with soy sauce. Also, the recipe didn't state that the Ramen noodles are supposed to be beef flavor, but I made that assumption. All I had on hand was the chicken flavor, so I set those flavor packets aside and used 1 beef bouillon cube in place of each flavor packet. If using fresh veggies, or a veggies with different cooking times, cook the longer-cooking veggies in the water for a few minutes before adding the rest of the ingredients in the 2nd step.
