Apricot Apple Compote Recipe Rating 5

You won't have to skip dessert when this comforting compote is on the menu. "I asked a friend of mine how she could eat dessert and still stay thin, and she handed me this recipe," shares Suzan Wiener of Spring Hill, Florida. I had this recipe and lost it, so glad to have found it on the site. We love it! Sometimes I add 2 peaches along with 2 apples, and also a few prunes. It satisfies my sweet cravings, and I usually add a dollop of cool whip. Guilt free desert!
