Creepy CauldronTo create a spooky scene at your Halloween party, purchase dry ice from your local grocery store's seafood department or ice supplier. Using tongs or thick gloves, place the dry ice in a watertight container; cover with water. Warm water will create more smoke, but it will disappear quickly. Cooler water will produce less dense smoke, but it will last longer. If the amount of smoke decreases during your party, add more dry ice and water.Editor's Note: Do not handle dry ice with your bare hands. Use tongs or thick gloves. I am planning on making these for my granddaughter's birthday party. Nice to see the idea of fluff and ice cream topping. I will add peanut butter chips also. It all sounds so yummy!

I will make this again with caramel ice cream topping, and hope it turns out easier to eat then with the melted caramels. My family really liked it I will also try it with cinnamon chips this time. All in all I thought it was fun and tasty just needed to work out a couple of kinks.

the other reviews are right - I used the carmamel ice cream topping and it was less sticky.... these were great...it is my new favorite snack recipe

How is a recipe that calls for 36 caramels, 30 large marshmallows, chocolate chips and sprinkles considered 'diabetic friendly'? This dish has 25g of highly processed carbs and only 2g of protein to offset the digestion of all this sugar. This dish is NOT diabetic friendly.

This was an ooey, gooey, delicious mess! But so is a caramel apple, and this was much easier to prepare. We loved it!

I can only give this 2 stars as written, and I would not make it again as written. I wish I had read the other reviews before making this! The recipe does not say how long to heat the caramels in the microwave, and I overcooked them. The caramel got hard immediately after drizzling and the whole topping came off when we tried to pick up one apple! I will be making this again, but with ice cream toppings instead. The blurb with the recipe says that "it doesn't get much easier than" this, but using ice cream topping is WAY easier and works out better!

Subbed caramel ice cream topping and heated marshmallow fluff. Used cinnamon chips. :) My son loved them!
