Ingredients

  • 1 package (3 ounces) cherry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
  • 4 medium apples, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped celery

Directions

  • In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in the pie filling, apples and celery. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until chilled. Yield: 8-10 servings.

Nutrition Facts: 3/4 cup equals 134 calories, trace fat (trace saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 40 mg sodium, 33 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 1 g protein. Diabetic Exchange: 2 fruit.

This is so good. It is simple to prepare. It would also be good with walnuts or pecans added. My family loves it!
