Apple Brickle Dip Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package almond brickle chips (7-1/2 ounces) or English toffee bits (10 ounces)
  • 3 medium tart apples, cut into chunks

Directions

  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugars and vanilla. Fold in brickle chips. Serve with apples. Refrigerate any leftovers. Yield: 2 cups.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (2 tablespoons) equals 174 calories, 9 g fat (5 g saturated fat), 20 mg cholesterol, 120 mg sodium, 22 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 1 g protein.

This is a good recipe. Will have to try the chocolate toffee bits next time.

I have made this recipe for several years and it is ALWAYS a big hit at parties! Sometimes I make it with chocolate covered toffee bits instead, which is just as yummy!

My friend gave me this recipe several years back and I made it several times then. After the paper it was printed on faded, I was sure glad to stumble on the recipe here!

This dip is fabulous! I did make a few changes. I used fat free cream cheese and cut my apples into wedges; not chunks. I will now have to keep toffee bits in my pantry as I will be making this often. Thank you for this delicious recipe!
