Ingredients:

  • 4 large heads cabbage, shredded
  • 1 pound carrots, shredded
  • 6 medium red apples, finely chopped
  • 3 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper

Directions:

In a very large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots and apples. In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Pour over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Yield: 42 (3/4-cup) servings.
