Apple, Pear, and Cranberry Compote Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon granulated SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener
  • 2 medium Fuji apples, peeled and coarsely chopped
  • 2 medium Bartlett pears, peeled and coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 3 tablespoons brown sweetener
  • 3/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoons salt
  • 1/8 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

Directions

  • Add apples, pears, apple cider, water, cranberries, sweeteners, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg to a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • Cover, lower heat, and simmer 15 minutes or until fruit is soft. Remove from heat and mix in lemon juice. Serve.
