We make this frequently. Have used it for grad parties, spelling out grad years with croissants. People love it!!! Also have tried slicing croissants into more than just 8...makes for a thinner "crust". Good when sliced into 12 per roll! This is always a hit.

I thought bread part was way to thick. Next time I would only use one roll of cresents and make 16 slices, so not at thick. Otherwise, very good and I would make again. Looks beautiful!

This was a hit when I took it to school for our holiday brunch. I had a problem finding a plate big enough so I covered a large pizza pan with foil. I had made two wreaths and then I had the bright idea to put one of the rings inside the other to form a bigger fuller wreath. It looked so festive.

p.s. I also used fat free cream cheese and low-fat sour cream
I made this for the very 1st time last night for our Ladies Christmas Party at my church. It was a huge hit!! I would modify next time to cute the rolls into 10 pieces rather than 8 (because I thought they were too thick). I will also either double the filling recipe or at the very least make it 1 1/2 times the amount so I can be more generous with it on the wreath and also have some left over for dipping. I used fresh garlic.

I also add some dry ranch dressing mix, as this makes is really tasty. Not too much though, add slowly to your taste or could be too salty.

I made these for Christmas they family ate them up. I found that there was a lot of dip left after making the wreath. I served it in the middle and used it to dip pretzels and veggies in. It's a 2 for 1 dish. Love it. I suggest using fresh dill, to taste.

After reading the reviews I knew I had to try this recipe. It was a hit at the NYE party I brought it to. I used the advice and used a fresh clove of crushed garlic. I also lightly pressed the veggies into the mixture so they did not fall off. I made a second ones the next day for another get together

Just made this to take to a Christmas party yesterday. Not only was it fun & simple to make, it was beautiful & a big hit. This is definitely a keeper.

This was enjoyed by all ages at our Christmas gathering. I made a few substitutions. The crescent rolls were replaced with a sourdough baguette, which was sliced in 24 pieces. The garlic powder was replaced with a clove of minced garlic. I chose not to use ranch dressing because it contains msg. The final substitution was diced spinach instead of broccoli.

I also cut into 16 rolls.
I made this for my ladies Chritmas luncheon and everyone loved it. I baked the croissants 10 min and pressed the vegs into the dip firmly. Didn't need as many vegs as recipe call for.

I just made this for a Christmas party, and it was a hit! It's so pretty, and it tastes great. I, too, cut the slices thinner, and it worked perfectly! My celery didn't come with leaves, so I used the extra red pepper to fashion a bow.

This was a huge hit! It was so easy to make. I also used Hidden Valley Ranch mix as well. I made two of these for a family birthday party. One of the wreaths I made with gluten free Bisquik instead of the crescent rolls. That one also turned out really well. Both wreaths received rave reviews. This is definitely one I will make again and again!

The presentation was so great! I also used Hidden Valley Ranch mix. I only used 1 tube of cresent rolls cut into 16 - but then I cut those 16 in half once they were cooled. I spread the mixture heavily on each section and then face planted it into a bowl of chopped brocc/celery and then with a spoon I pressed a few chpd red peppers on for trim. It made the process much easier. With smaller bites the wreath looked fuller and had more bites to be shared! It's so pretty to look at, ha.

Forgot to add that I had enough of the white spread to cover 2 tubes of rolls, both cut in 16 slices each. The veggie amts called for were also more than enough for 16.
I followed several of the suggestions already made. I only used 1 tube of rolls and cut 16 slices (first cut in in half, then each half in half, etc.) I also used a packet of ranch dressing mix instead of using dill weed & garlic powder. My preference is to bake the rolls not touching - if you leave them together, it'll get messy, with veggies falling off, as the slices are pulled apart. Also, I suggest adding the veggies on a different plate than the serving one, as it's hard to keep them all on the slice without a few falling off. Doesn't take long to look cluttered! So I think best to "decorate" and then when finished, put on actual serving plate. I chopped the broccoli and pepper with a knife and the celery with a hand slapper/chopper to make it very fine. As for taste, everyone loved them!

I have made this many times and it is impressive. I make it in a heart shape for wedding showers/valentines day and a #2 for one of my kids birthdays. Would also be cute as a shamrock or initials.

This was a hit with a ladies group I served it to. I didn't need nearly the amount of chopped up veggies that were called for.

I took this to my neighborhood Christmas party. I had several asking for this recipe! It looked like a complicated appetizer, but it's deceptively easy to make.

I did make and take this to our neighborhood Christmas party last evening. My husband said it was very impressive and suggested I take a picture of it. I did use the Crescent Rounds - made it really easy. Also, I used two small cookie/fondant cutters and made stars. I put three larger ones by the celery "bow" and then the small ones around the rest of the wreath. They all really enjoyed it.

I haven't made this yet, but plan on doing it for a neighborhood Christmas party this weekend. From the list of ingredients, I know it will be tasty! I plan to use Crescent Rounds instead of crescent rolls - won't have to cut them in to slices that way.

Hi aka Alice, I'm going to a art auction with my womans group and need to bring an appetizer this appetizer wreath sounds great. I don't think a bunch of ladies with garlic breath is appealing so I was concidering your idea that you added for the Pillsbury dough wreath. In the recipe you said the above. that you spread ranch dressing seasoning, pkg ranch dressing. Is this 2 different items? I was thinking that you meant to spread Ranch " salad dressing on it. then added the vegetables to color it up. or is there a "dressing pkg" I need to look for. Thanks, Karen in Ga

This pretty wreath was a real hit at our family's Christmas Eve gathering! I made it a second time during the holidays to take to a friend's party and this time used just one can of crescent rolls, cutting it into 16 thinner slices and reducing the baking time just a bit. It was just as pretty and I liked having less "roll" with each serving.Ann at Taste of Home
