Almond Stuffed Pears Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 small ripe pears
  • 1/2 each plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons slivered almonds, toasted golden
  • 2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 1/4 cup fresh peppermint

Directions

  • Cut the pears in half and remove the center.
  • Make a thin slice on the rounded side so that it will sit flat.
  • Put the pears onto small plates and sprinkle extract in the center of each.
  • Spoon almonds in the center.
  • Garnish with a dollop of greek yogurt and some fresh mint.
