Almond Curry Spread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 fresh green onion, chopped
  • 1/3 small red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 2 teaspoons low sodium Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 - 9ounces jar mango chutney
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted

Directions

  • Using electric beaters, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  • Fold in onions, red pepper, curry, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and nutmeg.
  • Spoon mixture onto serving platter and top with chutney and almonds.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving equals 130 calories, 7 g fat (4 g saturated fat), 171 mg sodium, 18 g carbohydrate, 2 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1-1/4 fat.
