My mother used to prepare this salad for an evening meal during the hot summer months. It also serves well as a delicious but quick luncheon or potluck dish. You can't beat the tasty combination of chicken, grapes and almonds. -Kathy Kittell, Lenexa, Kansas

I was really quite skeptical about how some of the ingredients would come together but this turned out wonderful! Specifically the grapes; they were such a nice touch. I actually used a pre-cooked rotisserie chicken (b/c I am lazy). Also, I mixed the last part in a mixer first, then added in the first part (chicken, etc.) and used the stir option on the mixer to combine everything. I served it on a Telera Sandwich roll which was quite good. Thanks so much for sharing! Will def make again!

I made this salad for a Bridal Luncheon, but served it inside of a scooped out cantlaloupe half. A big hit with everyone.

Very good. I could do without the green grapes, and I think next time I'll use purple onion or purple grapes to make it a little more colorful. glad to have the recipe!

We LOVE this recipe and everyone I have served it to raves about it. However, we do not like celery so we leave it out. To replace the "crunch" factor and to add a bit of flavor I add some granny smith apples chopped. It is delicious!

I made this recipe for our quilting group, such raves, now I have been asked to make this for a ladies/daughters tea. 120 ladies. I served it on croissiants.

To answer previous question- I served mine in lettuce leaves. Like a chicken wrap. We are trying to stay low carb due to my son being diabetic but you could serve it on croissant bread if you don't care about carbs.

Question, do you serve this as a sandwich or just a salad or with crackers or something? Sounds good I just need to know how it is served. Thanks

At first I wasn't sure that the flavors would work well together. But after trying it, I was wrong. This salad has something for all your taste buds. The combination of flavors and textures is excellent. Sometimes I add chopped apple for even more flavor.

This is by far one of the very best chicken salads I have ever tasted! My kids don't care for it much, but that's okay. Love it! Thanks.
