Meet the Cook: I always try to have a supply of these on hand in the freezer. If guests drop in, I just pull out and reheat some. You can serve them as a snack, for brunch or along with a lighter lunch. My husband and I have three married daughters, four grandsons and another grandchild on the way. -Linda Thompson, Southampton, Ontario

This has been my FAVORITE appetizer to make and take for every gathering...from holidays and picnics to lots of "just because we are craving them" opportunities as well. This is...hands down...the most requested snack I am asked to bring when we are invited to a party!!

Easy and definitely tasty. My group loved them and all asked for the recipe! I used precooked bacon and added a bit of green onion for color. A friend suggested adding jalapenos.

Love this app! Easy to make. My husband can't get enough of these! I want to freeze them to have for later, but they get eaten too quickly!

These were so good! Can't wait to make again. I even made them a little bit ahead of time and layered them between sheets of waxed paper.

My gods these were absolutely DELICIOUS!!! My family fell in love with them and were attacking me in the kitchen before I could get the 2nd batch onto the serving plate.

A big hit with everyone. Easy to make. I do cook them a little longer, probably because I use more topping on each slice of bread.
