1/2 cup butter, softened 1-1/4 cups sugar, divided 3 eggs 1 teaspoon anise extract 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder Dash salt 1/2 cup chopped almonds 2 teaspoons milk
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and 1 cup sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in extract. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture. Stir in almonds. Line
