1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter, softened 1/2 teaspoon salt FILLING: 2 packages (one 8 ounces, one 3 ounces) cream cheese, softened 3 eggs 1/2 teaspoon almond extract FROSTING: 2-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar 1/3 cup butter, softened 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon milk 1 teaspoon almond extract Sliced almonds, toasted
in a small bowl, combine the flour, sugar, butter and salt. Pat into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. In a small mixing bowl, combine filling ingredients; beat until smooth. Pour over crust. Bake 15-20 minutes longer or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely on a wire rack.
