I made these for the first time this week for a birthday gathering - everyone LOVED them! I used Hormel bacon pieces instead of the 6 strips of bacon (easier) and I used 2 green onions instead of one. (love onions)

Really great recipe! Baking the baguettes for 8-9 minutes is way too long (try 3 minutes, then check). Also, final baking for 7-8 minutes was too long (again, check it). Will make this recipe many times over.
