This simple recipe was an excellent project to make with my 6 year old son for school. We both had a great deal of fun while learning and following directions.

These were a big hit at my book club meeting. They are really easy, and cute. I used kisses with almonds and the regular kisses. They are tasty and I think I will make more for our family Thanksgiving.

I made the Acorns last year at Thanksgiving and the were a hit with kids and adults alike. I used miniature chocolate chips for the stem. I used a dab of chocolate icing to attach them.

Made this with my 6yr old niece for Thanksgiving. It was lots of fun because it was so simple. The most difficult part was keeping the other family members from eating them as fast as we could assemble them.

So easy to make -and so festive, specially when placed on napkins with leaves. Used flavored kisses (mint, cherry) and was so tasty after!

These are adorable and they were not hard to make. We actually used a can of chocolate fudge frosting to adhere the nutter butters and chocolate chips on. You must let them set up, but we did not have to refrigerate for that to work.So many compliments on these, thanks for an AWESOME recipe!!!

These are such cute little treats. They are very rich though. I think I might try using peanut butter flavored chips to attached together. The Hershey kiss is almost an overwhelming chocolate taste. I used one of the other suggestions and attached choc. chips to the top for stems. Will definitely make these again!

I agree with the use of melted chocolate to put the chip on the top.

I suggest using a dab of chocolate to attach a chocolate chip to the top for the stem--easier than trying to get a perfect dollop of melted chocolate!
