These were nice and festive. Everyone enjoyed them, especially the kids! I didn't make mine so pointy, or use orange food coloring and they turned out great.

I first made these about 15 years ago, as a Halloween treat for a neighbor's kids, who weren't allowed real trick-or-treat candy. And I've made it every year since! People expect them, and the reviews are always great!

These are amazing! I substitute Splenda for the sugar, omit the chocolate chips, and use vanilla extract in place of almond. Some of my variations are adding orange extract, adding apple pie seasoning, or adding instant hazelnut coffee granules, that's the best! My mom and I love them!

Such a cute idea and good. Be creative, they don't have to be pointed - blob them into ghostly shapes.

This was a terrible treat last year and I intend to make it again this year. So easy and goos.

I agree..it does look a little kkk-ish with how it's all pointed at the top... But hopefully with all the other halloween treats around it will just all go together. ..what if you just stuck tiny chocolate chips on a white hersheys kiss? it'd have the same effect without the 'pointy hats'

Looks like something you'd whip up before the klan meeting.

Am I alone in thinking that this photo looks just a bit "politically incorrect?"
