One of our most popular sections of Light & Tasty is “Test Kitchen Makeovers,” where we take your recipes and make them lighter. Now it’s your turn to shine! We want to know the secrets you use to make your recipes guilt-free, and for joining in the fun, you could take home $600!
We’re looking for your best light recipe. It could be anything from an apple tart to zucchini bread, from breakfast to nighttime snack and everything in between. Simply send your recipe to our “My Favorite Light Recipe Contest.” Be sure to include your recipe, and how you made it light. If it’s the best out of the bunch, you’ll take home some serious cash!
Winning recipes will be announced in the February/March 2009 issue.

- You may enter more than one recipe, but be sure to include the name of the contest as well as your name, address and phone number, including area code, with each entry.
- Be specific with measurements, directions and the size of cans, packages and pans so others can successfully make your recipe.
- Please include a few words about the origin of your recipe and how you've lightened it up. Share any compliments it's received…plus pass on any variations you recommend.
- If duplicates are received, entries with the earliest postmarks will be considered.
