I wanted a lowered bake center, and it’s perfect for rolling out pie crusts and kneading bread dough. The pull-out flour and sugar drawers keep baking supplies at hand. There are even racks to store baking pans.
Our 11-foot window seat, a last-minute addition, overlooks our garden and is my favorite spot for morning coffee. When we put the extra leaves in our table, we can push the table up to the window and fit six or seven happy grandkids on the seat.
Clair and I are thrilled to share our warm, “chicken-friendly” kitchen with our family..and with you. It’s been a real labor of love and a dream come true!
