Call 911 immediately if you have high blood pressure and begin experiencing any of the following symptoms.
- Numbness and tingling in your hands and feet
- Coughing up blood or severe nosebleeds
- Shortness of breath
- Chest pain
- Sudden, severe headache with no known cause
- Sudden weakness or numbness in your face, arm, and/or leg on one side of the body
- Sudden dimming or loss of vision
- Trouble speaking or understanding speech
- Shakiness or a sudden fall
