Easy Apple Peeling
In my 80 years, I've peeled tons of apples to make sauce. Now I halve and core the apples, then place them in my double boiler steamer. In 4 to 5 minutes, they soften, and the peel can be pulled off intact. Why didn't I think of this 60 years ago? —Flora McHenry, Walnut Creek, California
