Cubed Cookie Dough

Recently, I noticed a TV commercial for prepared cookie dough portioned into cubes that bake into perfect same-size cookies. I decided I could do that with my own cookie recipe and eliminate the tedious task of dropping spoonfuls of dough. I lined a baking pan with plastic wrap, packed the dough into the pan, cut it into squares and froze it. I removed the frozen dough from the pan by pulling up on the plastic wrap. Then I was able to quickly place individual cubes onto the cookie sheet to bake. It worked beautifully. I often bake just half a batch and save the rest of the frozen cubes for another time. —Velma Williams, Puyallup, Washington
