Quick Defrost
If you forget to defrost frozen hash brown potatoes before your next party, just put them in a colander and rinse with cold water until thawed. Then put them in a salad spinner to remove excess water. It’s a quick fix in a pinch. —Janet Stern, Oviedo, Florida
