8-inch frosted ceiling globe light fixture.
Remove the globe from the base. Place the base on your table; center at 18-inch square of crushed velvet over the top.
Turn on a small flashlight or crack a glow stick to light it up; place inside the glass globe. Set the illuminated globe on top of the fabric-draped base. Wrap beads around the crystal ball.
For added fun, gather guests around the table and pretend to "see" their future in the crystal ball. Pick up a book on palm reading and make some predictions. Or play one of the fortune-telling games described below.
