Witch's Broom Party Favor
11-inch length of 1/4-inch wooden dowel
Acrylic craft paints—orange, green, purple and white
Small flat paintbrush
Wrapped candy
Small orange and green paper bags (ours measured 3-1/2 inches wide x 6-1/2 inches high)
4-inch length of 3-1/2-inch-wide purple or black fringe for each
Craft glue
18-inch length of orange, purple and yellow rattail cord
Paint colored stripes around wooden dowel for broom handle.
Let dry. Place wrapped candy inside paper bags. Place painted dowel inside bag; twist top of bags tightly around dowel. Wrap fringe piece around twisted area and glue to hold. Wrap rattail cord around top of fringe and tie ends in a small bow.
Editor’s Note: A Halloween pencil could be used in place of the painted dowel.
