Checking for Doneness
What's the best way to tell if grilled meat or poultry is done?
Use a meat or instant-read thermometer to check the internal temperature of your grilled item before the recommended cooking time is up.
The internal temperature of chicken breasts should be 170° and pork should reach 160°. For beef, the internal temperature should reach 145° for medium-rare, 160° for medium and 170° for well-done.
