Taste of Home and WGN Chicago have partnered to sponsor the Slow Cooker Contest. The winning cook gets the opportunity to prepare his or her dish on-air during the Midday News program on WGN-TV in Chicago, a trip to the Taste of Home headquarters near Milwaukee and a collection of Taste of Home Cookbooks worth $125.

The winning recipe will be the best recipe chosen from all entries. The dish should fall into one of the following categories:
Appetizers & Snacks
Hot, savory dips, delicious meatballs and finger-lickin’ wings are just some of the great treats you can enter in the contest.
Soups & Sides
If you've got a secret recipe for Ravioli Soup, Cheesy Creamed Corn, Saucy Potatoes or other tasty specialties, send it in!
Entrees
There's no limit to the main dishes we're interested in. If your family loves it, we probably will, too.
Desserts
