With today's hectic weeknight schedules and after-school agendas, is anyone not interested in fast-fixing entrees that can be put together in no time flat? That's why we chose "Super Stovetop Entrees" for the next Simple & Delicious recipe contest theme.
We're looking for speedy stir-fries, skillet dishes and quick ground-beef recipes, unforgettable main-dish soups and chilies, hearty pastas, breakfast skillets or anything else your family asks for again and again!
If it's simply fabulous and prepared mostly on the stovetop, we'd love to try it! Send in your favorites featuring chicken, beef, turkey, pork or seafood and those meatless dishes, too! You can even microwave a sauce to add to it, or combine mixes and convenience items to fix it.
Don't forget to give us a few words about why this recipe's a favorite. Be sure to include any variations you've tried or tips on speeding prep. Winners will be published in the September/October 2010 issue of Simple & Delicious.

You may enter more than one recipe. If you email or mail your recipe, be sure to print the name of the contest as well as your full name, street address and phone number, including area code, with each entry. Be specific with measurements, directions and the size of cans, packages and pans so others can successfully make your recipe. Include a few words about the origin of your recipe. Share any compliments it's received, plus any variations you recommend. If any duplicates are received, the entries with the earliest postmarks will be considered.
